The village of Dehqaed is located 4 km north of the city of Borazjan in Dashtestan County, Bushehr Province. To the north of the village lies an archaeological site bearing the same name, consisting of 36 archaeological mounds. Ceramic and architectural evidence indicates that, although occupation at the site began in earlier periods, its peak prosperity dates to the Sasanian period. The primary focus of this study is the water-management structures of the site, which include several qanat systems, water channels, a bridge-dam, and a lesser-known structure known as nar-o-las. These hydraulic systems have been investigated using various methods, particularly remote sensing techniques such as deep learning. Based on the discussions presented in this article, at least some of these structures can be attributed to the Sasanian period.
